1. Who we are
Time Travelers United Restoration Project (“we”, “us”) restores historical sound recordings — predominantly pre-1923 and other public-domain 78rpm-era material — and publishes the restored results to YouTube channels that we own and operate. This policy explains what information is handled when you visit this website or view our published videos.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information from visitors
This website has no accounts, no login, no comment system and no tracking of visitors. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may record standard technical request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used to identify individuals and are retained only as long as needed for that purpose.
Voluntary contact
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it only to reply.
3. YouTube API Services
We use the YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API v3) through an internal publishing tool. That tool acts only on channels and videos that we own. It is not a public application: there is no third-party login, no public API access, and no way for another person to use it to reach their own YouTube data.
Concretely, the tool uses the API to upload our own restored videos, add them to playlists we own, read back our own upload and playlist status, and update the titles and descriptions of our own videos. It does not read other users' data, post comments, or scrape YouTube.
Your agreement
By using our website or viewing our content, you acknowledge that use of YouTube is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service, and that data handled by YouTube is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. Our use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.
Revoking access
If you have ever granted this application access to your Google Account, you can revoke that access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all future API access immediately.
4. How information is stored and protected
Our publishing tool runs on privately controlled infrastructure. Its OAuth credentials are stored locally, are never published, and are never shared with third parties. We do not sell, rent or trade any information, and we do not disclose it except where required by law.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain no personal data from visitors or viewers because we collect none. If you have contacted us by email, you may ask us to delete that correspondence and we will do so.
For records held by Google in connection with your own Google Account, deletion requests are handled by Google as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is generally nothing for us to export or erase. Where any data does exist (for example, an email you sent us), you may request access to it, ask for correction, or ask for its deletion, and we will respond within a reasonable period.
7. Children
Our content is historical and archival in nature and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
